The Orchell Nuts history began in 2005 with a clear purpose: develop lasting relationships with local growers and introduce premium Xinjiang walnuts to a wider market.
Xinjiang, China, offers favorable conditions for walnut cultivation. Abundant sunshine, fertile agricultural land, clean irrigation water, dry harvest weather, and significant differences between daytime and nighttime temperatures help walnuts develop full kernels, crisp texture, and distinctive flavor.
From these strong agricultural foundations, Orchell Nuts gradually expanded its knowledge, orchard partnerships, product selection, processing capabilities, and quality-control procedures.
2005
Our Walnut Journey Began
Orchell Nuts began working with walnut growers in Xinjiang, building practical knowledge of orchard cultivation, seasonal harvesting, natural drying, walnut selection, and local trading. These early partnerships established the foundation for our long-term development.
2010
Relationships with Local Growers
We expanded cooperation with experienced orchard communities and strengthened our understanding of different Xinjiang walnut varieties. Closer grower relationships helped improve seasonal planning, product selection, traceability, and consistency.
2015
Expanding Our Orchard Network
Orchell Nuts extended its sourcing network across productive walnut-growing areas in Aksu and Kashgar. Increased orchard access supported larger harvest volumes, more in-shell varieties, additional kernel grades, and a dependable supply for wholesale buyers.
2020
Improving Processing and Drying Capacity
We expanded walnut handling, natural drying, processing, sorting, grading, and storage capabilities. These improvements allowed us to prepare larger commercial orders while strengthening freshness protection and product consistency
